This is a very interesting book which answers to questions related to strange and irrational behaviors like these:
Have you ever driven through a hurricane or a storm, out of any logic, to get in the office on time for an important meeting? Have you ever eaten all 400 sandwiches to win a competition for Guinness Records? How often do you buy useless things?Using the daily life situations this book provides us with ways to understand why people behave like that.
Reading this book and also seeing so many betting points in Tirane it may be noticed that more people loose while betting, more pleasure and desire to play they have. They become so addicted to the Loss and in an unbelievable and unreasonable way they continue loosing in order to earn in another time.
This kind of addiction is not related only to finances but it may also to emotions or other benefits.
The book shows how this irrationality of behaving becomes a kind of usual relationship, decision , way of living or deciding and even knowing the bad part of this people can not stop, and sometime this determination makes them to be better and more successful than others. However, being a "slave" of sways is not good and that is why are given some strategies how to avoid them or to maintain them under control, because THE BIGGEST PROFITS AND THE BIGGEST LOSSES LAY WITH EACH OTHER.

Hi Ortenca,
ReplyDeleteI agree with your post that “THE BIGGEST PROFITS AND THE BIGGEST LOSSES LAY WITH EACH OTHER” but I think mostly it brings biggest losses. It is changing according to the situation.
Usually our feelings direct us and to avoid big losses we must control our behaviors.
