Sometimes we are doing something without any reason just for fun or attractiveness of inhibition. It can be dangerous, irrational, forbidden… If it is forbidden, we want to see what behind this, if it is dangerous we want to feel excitement.
About inhibitions, human behavior is really nonsense. I remember something interesting from a movie or theatre, I’m not sure. In a company someone wants to spread scandal and he is telling a colleague a gossip and then he is saying “do not tell anyone, it is secret”.
Why? Because secrets are spread faster than common conversation.
If you saw a door with “no entrance” sign, we want to see what is behind the door but if there is no sign on the door, we usually don’t notice the door.
All time we are living these kind of situations. If something is unreachable, we start to think about it and we want to reach. Actually this feeling belongs to our elephant :)
Also for some situations for example poker, usually we can never stop to play even though we are losing. To lose has irresistible effect and for that reason we cannot control our elephant. We want to stop after we win and maybe for that reason we are playing (losing) till we win or finish.
After our elephant start to be more powerful because of our feelings, we are closing our eyes not to show the truths to our rider. Elephant start to control us. The important thing is to keep control of elephant.
