GROUDSWELL

If people are discussing something that concerns you, you’d better take part in it rather than watch from outside and learn the result as an outsider. Whether you want or not, people discuss everything with each other in some ways or forms. It has always been that way and we have always wanted to know what has been going around, especially concerning us. We have wanted/needed to express ourselves and get involved. Now with technology it has become worldwide. The radio, TV, cell phones and finally the Internet. So, people keep talking, communicating but now millions, even billions, can take part at the same time. The game is bigger now and more is at the stake.
Imagine, a train is coming from the distance but I can’t see it clearly. Now it’s in front of me. Some people are getting on but I’m not sure it’s my train since it’s not very clear where it goes. Everybody says something different. What should I do now? Get on now and be one of the lucky people in the future or wait till I’m sure? I can waste my time, energy etc because I’ve got on a wrong train or it’s the right train and I fall behind and it will demand some effort to catch up. Maybe I’ll feel relieved in the future since I haven’t got on it. I guess the best solution is to take part actively or to be well-informed and stand ready to react in time.
Be yourself but humble and flexible enough to listen to others, not because you want to be just like others but more yourself, more unique.
