When I was reading some chapter and reviews of the book “The power of Positive Deviance” which was based on the observation that in every community there are certain individuals or groups whose uncommon behaviours and strategies enable them to find better solutions to problems than their peers, while having access to the same resources and facing similar or worse challenges. Positive deviants see solutions where others don't and actually these make them the key to spreading and sustaining needed change.
Reading made me also feel and think for the situation in Albania where actually such kind of people is becoming less and less difficult to find. On the past I remember to have heard some stories were people with a good will trying to do more for the society even with medical cure which on the other hand was not even approved from the Ministry of Health.
One the other hand nowadays there are organization and funds have been given to support but still I would see as a questionnaire mark for our society.
But, there is a hope that the situation will be better and as always the change has to start from us.
