How to Change the World: Social Entrepreneurs and the Power of New Ideas

During the class listening those amazing stories about single people that had found the way to change a system, in my mind came immediately a very interesting story of a friend of mine, who did a great thing for some street kids here in Tirana.
Few years ago watching the news edition in one of the televisions a saw a friend of mine Romina, who had managed to attract not only the attention of the televisions but also the public one. She had taken the initiative to feed and give some education or entertainment to some kids that were street beggars. Firstly she had rented a big house changing it later in a daily center for the little street beggars. At this center these kids had the chance to have a good meal and to pass the time learning new things or playing different games. Romina have started all this with her little savings but very soon she saw herself out of money. than she started to ask the help of different people or businesses to donate something for these kids. With to much difficulties she managed to keep the center opened till the day the televisions learned about her initiative. Very fast she became famous and the hole public opinion supported her for this amazing initiative. Many businessmen sponsored her center donating either money, foods and clothes for the poor kids.
Such a thing in the beginning was hard to believe for me that this could really work in our country. I have seen many documentary films or i had read many articles about altruist people that did such things for the poor kids at their countries. When i saw thousand of people supporting my friend on her initiative to keep those kids way from the streets, it was than that i really believed that a single unknown person can bring changes to our world. People like Romina bring not only joy for the people they help but also they bring hope, hope that in this tough and rude world a single good action can make a big change. They inspire each of us to show and give more love and compassion not only to our relatives but to everybody we meet. Many good actions and persons will make this world a better one.
