FOLLOWERSHIP

I wanted to start my writing with a phrase from Helen Keller":

"The world is moved not only by the mighty shoves of heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker"

The key part is the aggregate of the tiny pushes which means that the power of followers has a big impact on our everyday lives. What we have seen is that the followers can lead and have led to big changes but what I wanted to emphasize here is that it has to be controlled and used on its proper way. Because once the crowd which is formed of followers go out of control then leads to destruction. Today on the 21st century, year 2011, we are all witness of how a group of followers (i am not entering here in discussion for what reasons or are paid or ...) instead of producing something better for society and showing to everyone our culture and civilization they are producing chaos and threading the life of everyone. But if these group of followers is controlled on a proper way and with a leader then story would change. What a group of followers is looking forward is to a good leader to take them and to lead to the right direction.

So, I want to sum that what we all look is a good quality leader to make us, the followers go to the right direction for a good purpose. As, us, the human being has a follower-ship instinct inside.

Stay good everyone

  1. Hi Anri,

It is impossible not to have same idea with your writing. Today was really good example to prove this idea. Followers were more powerful than the leader because they were together as a one body. It is the succeed key of followers. Other wise there is no chance to change something.

The discontent point is some people was died in their struggle. This kind of struggles to avoid future's difficulties can hurt some followers and it makes these days more difficult. Today's protest was saddest but I really appreciate Albanian power. You didn't close your eyes.

  2. Anri I totally agree with you. However crowds can be manipulated. Whoever finds the way to control them will be able to have the power.
The crowds are a blind being..................

  3. Dear Anri,

Crowd effect is one of the most dangerous in the world. It happens on daily bases in every place of the world and leads to catastrophic consequences, even people's death but nothing changes as leaders just gratifying their ambitions...

  4. Hello Anri
I think we always have what we deserve. It is in most people's mentality that someone must come, show direction and then we will change. What about changing first and then expecting something? I am thinking about my country first, but I am not indifferent to the problems of Albania as well. We all see what has to be changed in us first.Let's start with this small step.
