Book 4: Groundswell: Winning in a word transformed by social Technologies

Groundswell is a book of particular interest, about the importance of social technologies for business. The authors interpret social media as the strong public sudden force or opinion that is detectable even though not openly expressed, a spontaneous movement of people using online tools to connect, take charge of their experience, and get what they need, information, support, ideas, products, and bargaining power, from each other. Nowadays, internet has become a part of our life. Since life is so intense, people have limited time, so they do many things through internet, such as shopping, holiday reservations, ordering food and many other daily issues. Marketing the business through internet is of crucial importance in our today’s internet age. Many businesses are succeeding, making good business and solving business problems through internet in this era.

  1. Hello Erisa,

i agree with you when you write that have limited time, so they do many things through internet, such as shopping, holiday reservations, but this behavior is taking people away from communicating with each other making them more and more insecure in the social relations.

    good night

  2. Hello.
Yesterday I read in a newspaper about a technology eraser clinic. A place where people that are extremely dependent from technology were taken. A guy that was taken to that clinic said that at a certain point of time he was sending sms to his wife during dinner sat at the same table. We need to find balance, for our own good.

  3. Hello Rezart,

    Really funny stories...:)
This is too much, I think. Humans has to stop and think how to use the technology properly and not let the technology use them improperly, because it might become ordinary tomorrow and destroy your self and people around you.

Hope Albanians in general do use it when it is really needed.

    Thank you!

  5. Hello Erisa.
Every point that you have stated is absolutely true, but I have to add to your comment that Public relations through web is one of the strongest relation between costumers and companies. These relations increase the trust and creates what we called reliable clients.
    Cheers
