Why our goals achieved best indirectly.
This book is all related to the phrase and all the examples are defined as: “In obliquity there are no predictable connections between intentions and outcome”
The amazing thing is that the intentions give you the satisfaction and the reason for doing something, the outcome is the effort of our work and in a grade it scales our level of intention.
Personally I think most of the time intentions are more important than the results, as the life we are leaving is short and the satisfaction is mostly received from the effort that you do than from the result and whatever the result will be deep inside you know that you tried.

Hi Fori
ReplyDeleteI think the first part of your comment is acceptable but the second, well I do not agree with you. The results are more important than the way to get them. Satisfaction is more conected to the goal most of the time......
hello together,
ReplyDeleteof course everybody is orientated to achieve his goal, but not every time you make it...

Dear Florian,
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with your comment saying 'I think most of the time intentions are more important than the results, as the life we are leaving is short'. If the result is more important and your intention doesn't make any difference, why don't cheat each other every day? And as you said life is short and you can't reach all your targets but your intention keeps you going.
Great comment. Thanks a lot.

I totally agree with Florian, when he says that the intentions are more important than the results. Because intentions construct our experiences and judgments, makes us learn even if we fail at the end. As Olga has commented, life is short and you can not reach all your targets, but the intentions keeps you going.

ReplyDeleteI agree that realization that you tried and did your best can bring you comfort and satisfaction.I know people who under any circumstances want to get the result they planned.Later such people suffer from complicated psychological illnesses.
Hi Florian,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that intention is important (sometimes more than result) but unfortunately in the professional business life it is not working like this. For managers the result is all time important then intentions.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI do not agree with you that intentions give you satisfaction rather results gives satisfaction. However without these intentions no result can be achieved. So according my opinion for managers results are the core so as far as you do not reach the goals the effort does not compensate.
