I would like to mention from the book the story of “The Pursuit of Happyness”
Last year I have read a story for Neil Armstrong:
When Apollo Mission Astronaut, Neil Armstrong first walked on the moon, he not only gave his famous “One Small Step for Man, One Giant Leap for Mankind” statement.
Just before he reentered the lander, however, he made the enigmatic remark, “Good luck, Mr. Gorsky.”
The story runs that it referred not to a Soviet cosmonaut rival but a tale from Armstrong's childhood. That, as a small child, he overheard a neighbour's argument where one promised the other a favour when "the kid (Neil) next door walks on the moon".
From this moment Neil has another one motivation to go to the moon (The Pursuit of Happyness)
Elda,
ReplyDeleteEven if I liked most the draft you had written (as the story was more detailed)I may say that the story is interesting and is a nice example of how people try to pursuit the happiness as this is the main feeling people might "fight" for.
