The Power of Positive Deviance

  1. Example of positive deviance:
I want to connect this case with the organization that offer us work.
Sometimes is very difficult to find a better job than the last one because we consider every point of what we get from each company. To be e member of one company or one bank or public institution is not easy but not too difficult , but to get your own benefit from the organization that you have chose to work may be difficult and risky. Our society sometimes don’t offer better environment for the employees because of some rules that are not follow as should be. In my opinion based to the reality that we are living I think that to work in a private business (Refer to those business that have not structure and are not consolidate as well as should be in market) might be more risky that in bank system because in bank system we have contract, insurance, job description for each position, career development etc … .(so the positive deviance here is understanding the risk in such situation or in decision making when you want to chose in which company do you want to work )

  2. According to me in the case mentioned by you Ida, the positive deviance should be a company strongly established that offers for its employees a secure system of workplace environment associated to a good financial benefits policy.
