The New Trends and Concepts 2010: Groundswell

The above book is a very clear approach of today's society towards the internet and the web connection. The first part is a little bit not so interesting if you consider the fact that if you are not younger than 35-40 years old you may not get the overall meaning but the rest looks and feels right.
The truth is that we are depending everyday more from the net and being cut out of it for more than 1 hour is considered unimaginable for some people. However has to be agreed that the society has changed and the future can not be imagined without the web.
If this shifting from the human nature is the right path to follow this is something the story will show.
In my opinion the path we are taking is inevitable but how we will react in the future is very dificult to understand.
Regards

  1. Hi Rezart,

It is really incredible and surprising the steps ahead that technology made the last decade regarding communication and information.
This development has it's positive and negative things and we should be able to use the web in the proper manner otherwise we risk to robots and not humans anymore :).
Wish not to esagerate and to be traditional sometimes and not to loose contacs with the books.

    Have a nice day.

  3. I think every body accept that internet is indispensable part of our life and if there is a problem in our internet connection we feel ourself bound hand and foot. Think like cell phones. There was no cell phone before but now if we live any small problem like low battery, we start to be panic and even basic things start to be problem like meet friends. Whereas before we could meet with our friends easily without cell phone.
All technologies like that. Unconsciously it is changing every stage of our life style.

Maybe our generation is better than new generation. I’m new in Albania so maybe it is different for here but in Turkey almost all children has facebook, msn account and they spend all their times for these kind of social sides or playing computer games and it makes them to grow asocial. When I was a child, we played games with our friends at parks, gardens, some silent streets by touching and seeing. Maybe I’m a bit romantic 

Some of my friends tried not to use facebook etc. but they was forced to catch up the speed of life…
