Hello everybody, In order to get connected for the comments and ideas I am posting the blog opened by me where I am posting my ideas. As i have difficulties in understanding well if i am acting properly using the blog i found this way to inform you about my posting. May bee you need to be the followers of my blog first.( i am not sure if this is the way but let's try :)) )
About the flight of the creative class , I want to give an example : We remember very well the communism regime that we should be"close-minded " - what different people said and was prohibited to receive examples from other countries so our regime was not tolerant to accept other culture to take the better from each and then to make us decided what to take and what not to take from one culture to another. What I wont to express is that we always have had talent people but we didn't have tolerance and better technology to make the creative class work and than to make our country to develop more quickly.... p.s(I have express a short opinion but its hole history and many factor that could explain )
One of the sayings in this book was that the American Government is not willing to welcome the foreign students after they finish the university. When I was a student some of my professors have studied abroad and one of the reasons of their return in Albania was because the Albanian government paid them despite the salaries in their job. Now I have noticed that it is different. There are a lot of students that are coming here full of energy, hope and desire to change their country but after 3 or 4 months the reality they face is different. They understand that finding a job is very difficult considering that somebody else has taken his place considering that he/she knew the director. They face many issues since the moment when they ask for the diploma recognition to the Ministry of Education because there are many burokracies. And they can't go back to the country where they study because there is no permission. It will be much better if the Albanian government will still continue this approach for the albanian students.
It's my first time writing in the blog, and i think it is a good way to share our opinions about the course.
Turning into the book and the lights it tells us that America commands the world in all senses. I don't really know how they reach it, but obviously i think with visionary people and brightness minds. I have only heart that united states has agents all over the world to find smart and creative people. After that, i don't think they have problems to convince them, to be part of their programs :)!
(In reference to the idea of Glenda) Glenda I agree with your idea and I would like to say also that, for my opinion, the motivation to attract the turning back of the students that have studied abroad in Albania is a step that will help us to be provided with: - new culture - new information -new ways of concepting things -new ways to succeed with different challenges.
However the biggest gap in Albania is that many opportunities are given to wrong people that are not qualified;talented and/or willing to develop. nevertheless this wrong decesion-making is a kind of ordinary "process"for all ex-comunist countries. ORTENCA (OTU)
Dear all I belive that education is a multilayer thing. It is not just school that is considered education but also the everyday behavior that we learn in the family and that is affected by the enviroment. If a government is able to control the education of the youth they will control the tomorrow. The history is full of examples ( Hitlerian germany). What is hapening in USA ( book narration) is a clear example of how paranoya can afect everyday life and by thi I mean the hole system. There is a expression : Good luck helps the well prepared minds. If a state does not have these minds it is doomed to regress. That hapened before and will happen again. Regards
hi to everyone i would kindly ask everyone that has signed-in minimum once to create each a new blog where you may post your ideas in order we may write down our comments, because actually many of us do not allow the others to see their posts in their own blogs and to comment them. if we continue to comment in the books posts of prof. it will be a really mess to distinguish for whom each comment stands for. thank you for your understanding. regards,
This second book is quite important as explains a lot of concepts that in general we all have some ideas on but that are difficult to start the explanation for. The real nature of the western society is such that just trying to understand it and the way it works is a real relevation. Bye
Developed countries policy mainly consist of improving and developing strategies to invest in their citizens and then to reinforce these teams by a number of talented people from abroad. However we realize that US government have many requirements in order to let the new professionals in their country. I think the main reason of this, is not they don’t allow, but they just select a few number of talented ones from abroad. They know the capacity of their smart and capable people, and what they do is applying strategies to retain them as much as possible, and meanwhile select accordingly to their need the ones " to welcome’’. All the developing countries are losing their smart people as they are not capable enabling the environment, giving opportunity to young people to develop their talent and skills under the best possible conditions.
Regarding the sentence that "American Government is not willing to welcome the foreign students after they finish the university" I want to add that actually this is not the policy of America but also other developed and developing country. As a developing country I take Turkey as I have been living / graduated then working and have some experience. I think that there are two main reasons why there is such a policy still standing on: 1. These countries filter the quality of the student studying there. It is not that they don't welcome at all any of the students graduated in the respective country BUT they welcome some of them which may be worthy for them. We also have to take into consideration that market of these countries is saturated for not saying oversaturated, which means that 30 - 20 years before whoever was coming to America was welcomed but now America is completed and they select carefully whom they are willing to keep. 2. The other group of students studied and returned back to their countries has its own advantages for the country where they were graduated. Which means that this students are an investment for America in Albania. On the first occasion that an American company will come to Albania these group of students will be the one that will be hired as they are local with Albanian mentality and at the same time they have taken American education. e.g. I have been studied in Turkey and also a lot of my friends that studied there didn’t stay in Turkey but they are working in Turkish company so they were educated and they were the first one to be hired.
Hi , according to Rezart - I am totally agree with you ,but what happen if the luck is black for the some of "well prepared mind" and the government with own initiative don't wanna have very prepared mind around !!!!

Hello,
ReplyDeleteThe creative class will always fly to the best opportunities, to fulfill their professional and economic goals.
It is a process that no one can stop. The success of one country depends on the attention they have toward this class and their progress.
Have a nice day
