ReplyDeleteFor me, to make a decision by using the elephant doesn't mean that we don't care at all about its consequences except some extreme cases. We usually listen to the elephant and use our logic at the same time but sometime more elephant, less logic or vice versa. But, it is strange that only when the result is not good we ask ourselves this question "why did I listen to the elephant instead of using my logic". The result can be bad, unexpected even when we make a decision by using our logic. What can we say in that case?
ReplyDeleteHi Nihal, I fully agree that the Rider(logic) strength point is the ability to think long term, but why we can not trust Elephant ,our instinctive side…,why we should be so skeptical about his decision???? Elephant has chosen which direction to follow. This is a long way which requires energy . …It just just matter of rider who should simply keep the Elephant on the road long enough to make progress and reach the final destination
